My host family decided to take me on a personal tour of Copenhagen.

We visited:

Den lille havfrue = Danish little mermaid statue sculpted by Hans Christian Anderson

Kungliga slottet med vakter = the royal castle

Strøget

Nyhavn

Royal Copenhagen porslinsaffär = chinashop

Christiania

Visiting Copenhagen was a dream come true Can’t wait to go back!

I have friends in Denmark. Hopefully going to visit my european friends over christmas break!

After spending the day in Copenhagen, I spent the next few days with my friends in Malmö. That was pretty sweet. I went to a glögg party at a Rotarians house. Glögg is a christmas drink. Swedes like to throw a party and drink a lot of it. It tasted pretty good. I ate a lot of caviar paste on knäckebröd too. My other American friends thought I was crazy but I like that pungent taste that is none other than fish eggs on crunchy cracker bread. Not sure why but I dig it. I‘m going to miss all the weird food here. A lot
